On World Biodiversity Day, WWF-Malaysia and artist Jon Voo launched a series of wooden keychains made of recycled remnants wood, with all sales proceeds to be channeled to WWF-Malaysia’s conservation efforts.

Asia’s only great ape, the orangutan, is found only on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra. In Malaysia, orangutans are endangered due to forest conversion and fragmentation as well as forest fires. See more here.

About the Artist – Jon Voo

Jon Voo started doodling while pursuing his degree in Economics at the University of Warwick. He maintains Voodoodles on Instagram where he shares doodles of wildlife with the aim of raising awareness & knowledge of species worldwide. In 2016, he launched Project 366 on Instagram where he doodled a species a day based on different themes each month. He is interested in the conservation of antelopes, especially those from the Hippotraginae family. He is currently employed by the telecommunications provider, Maxis.
