DESIGN IDEA & CONCEPT
With rapid development, agricultural expansion and widespread hunting in Malaysia, the national symbol of Malaysia, the Malayan tiger, declined to about 500 at the turn of the century. As a national symbol and a priority conservation target for Malaysia, this piece is set to be a mascot/device that should be placed in the centre of the city to increase awareness of the idea that we are losing our national symbol. The cube body is a 3-sided LED screen that tells about the harm to the Malayan tigers while the crying tiger head is the tiger that screams for help.
