Trees are an integral part of an orangutan’s survival. Orangutans use trees not only as a means of travel but also as a safe haven for shelter and food. However, the orangutans’ survival is threatened by habitat degradation and fragmentation, resulting in a loss of trees that are necessary to the continued survival of orangutans.
